No Regrets Challenge Day Two (see August 2, 2018 on my Facebook page for video)

I’ve been exploring three different foreign cities over the last two weeks – Amsretdam, London, and now Berlin.  In each of these cities I’ve had to navigate public transit to get to where I wanted to visit.  But before I even began the task of figuring out which bus or train to take I first had to decide on my destination – was I going to take a tour, go to a museum, or do some shopping.

Yesterday I posed questions about what experience you wanted to have so that at the end of your life you’ll have no regrets.  Today the question is: What is your destination? Where are you headed.  This is more specific and points to one of the smaller pieces that you’ll put in place on your way to you achieving this bigger life vision.

This is critical because having only a general idea of what it is you want to experience in life can make it difficult to put a plan in place and start on your journey.  Today I ask what is a specific goal you can set out to work toward  in order to achieve your bigger vision?

Once you have that you can map out steps to get there.  But you must first decided on you goal or destination. Write your goal down.  If you took a first step yesterday to work toward your dream, answering this counts as your second step!

It’s not always easy to find your way to your destination. During these last two weeks I’ve gotten on a bus headed in the wrong direction, there was even a time when I couldn’t find the bus stop and I wound up taking the underground instead. But I kept calmed and reminded myself that enjoying the journey is just as important as getting there. And somehow I always managed to get to where I was headed.

That’s it for today’s challenge.  Don’t forget to write your answer’s down.  And I’ll be back tomorrow.
