Wow. This week, the last week of 2016, has been an exciting one.  I published my first book, Growing Bold.  I put myself, shy as I am, out there on social media.  People were excited about Growing Bold and they ordered it, surprisingly, but to my delight.  And, yesterday, I got a couple of messages that said “I got my copy in the mail today. Can’t wait to read it!”

I stopped and swallowed hard.  Not only had my book arrived, so had the moment of truth.  Will my readers enjoy what I’ve put my heart and soul into?  Will they take away the message: “Life is now, start living the life you want.  Put a plan in place and get on it.”?  Will the journaling exercises that are included help them to do this?

I don’t know; I can’t say for sure what the response will be.  What I do know is that I wrote Growing Bold from my heart with the intention that readers would honestly be able to say “yes” to those questions.  I’ll find out soon enough, though, through comments on Facebook and reviews on Amazon.

This exhilarating, yet sobering moment hasn’t darkened my spirit. I’m still ecstatic with what I’ve achieved this year. I am beyond pleased with how these accomplishments have culminated in the launch of Growing Bold.  And, I look forward to what 2017 has in store.
