Today is August 15, 2018 – Day 15 No Regrets Challenge (see August 15, 2018 on my Facebook page for video)

What’s your next move?

Yesterday I interviewed Arlene Batishill for an episode of my podcast which will air later this month.  And this question, What’s your next move?,  was what helped her move through a very difficult period in her life.  I don’t know that I so consciously ask myself this question, but there are definitely times in my life when I feel stuck in delay or avoidance because of fear or self-doubt.

Monday was one of these times.  I’ve got a goal to appear on other people’s podcasts.  I’ve got a master plan and know all I need to do to get this going but taking that wonderful vacation really slowed my momentum which then caused me to think about what I was considering doing — really putting myself out there. So at 9pm on Monday I told myself that before I went to bed I would reach out to one host of a podcast show I’d like to be on.  So that’s what I did and then I went to bed.

I awoke the next morning knowing what my next move had to be.  And I was genuinely excited about it.  I’d have to research and start putting together my marketing strategy ASAP.  Later that day I went to YouTube to do this research and I learned a little about marketing funnels and am now at a point where I feel happy with my progress.  Making this next move, as small as it was, created momentum that got me out of my head and into action.

So today’s no regrets challenge questions are:

  1. Where are you feeling stuck and
  2. What’s your next move?

Feel free to answer this for any area of your life, career, parenting, relationships, fun and enjoyment, health and wellness.  And if you’d like feel free to share too.  It’s a great way to get some accountability.

That is all for today.  See you again tomorrow.
